Welcome to the Accountability App ("App", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Accountability App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

The Accountability App is a support and accountability platform that allows users to:

• Send immediate help alerts to designated accountability partners
• Receive notifications when someone in their accountability network needs support
• Respond to help requests and confirm support
• Access biblical accountability resources

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Accountability Partners

When you add accountability partners:

• You confirm you have their consent to add them as a partner
• They will receive an initial welcome SMS explaining how they were added and how to opt out
• They will receive SMS messages, emails, and/or push notifications when you request help
• Partners can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send false or misleading help alerts
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for commercial spam or marketing

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Messages will be delivered immediately or at all
• Accountability partners will respond to alerts

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination and Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

The Accountability App is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will clearly disclose pricing before any charges apply. You will never be charged without explicit consent.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Intellectual Property and Ownership

Ownership. The App and all of its contents — including the software, source code, object code, design, layout, structure, "look and feel," graphics, icons, logos, text, and all other materials (collectively, the "App Materials") — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

Limited License to You. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by us.

Restrictions. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract, you agree that you will not, and will not permit or enable any third party to:

• Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any of the App Materials;
• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the App, except to the limited extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Scrape, harvest, data-mine, or otherwise extract data or content from the App by automated or manual means;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control feature of the App; or
• Copy, misappropriate, or otherwise use the App Materials to build, market, or operate a competing product or service.

Trademarks and Brand. "T[root]H," "T[root]H Accountability," "ONLY BLV," and our associated names, logos, and designs are trademarks and trade dress owned by us. You may not use our names, logos, trademarks, screenshots, or other brand assets — or any confusingly similar marks — without our prior written permission, including in any manner that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement by us.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other feedback about the App ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that Feedback for any purpose, without any obligation, attribution, or compensation to you. Feedback is provided voluntarily and is not confidential.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
