This Privacy Policy describes how ONLY BLV LLC ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use T[root]H Armory (the "App"), the free companion app to The T[root]H Prayer & Scripture Directory by Taylor Murphy.
The App does not collect:
These features keep their data on your device and never send it to us:
When analytics is on (the default), the App sends a small amount of anonymous information:
The App logs only these five events:
| Event | What It Includes |
|---|---|
| A category is opened | Which category (see "Sensitive Topics" below) |
| A sermon link is tapped | Which category the sermon belongs to (see "Sensitive Topics" below) |
| Something is shared | Whether it was a verse or a takeaway |
| Something is saved | Whether it was a verse, prayer, or takeaway, but never its content |
| The daily reminder is turned on or off | On or off |
Firebase Analytics also sends a few standard anonymous events, such as when the App is first opened and when a session starts, along with general device information like device model, operating system version, App version, language, and approximate country.
Some categories cover private struggles: Abuse & Trauma, Anxiety & Worry, Depression & Despair, Grief & Loss, Loneliness & Isolation, Lust & Sexual Purity, and Shame & Guilt. When you open one of these categories or tap one of its sermons, the App records only that "a sensitive category" was opened. It never records which one.
If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report containing technical details such as the error, the part of the App where it happened, device model, and operating system version. Crash reports do not contain your notes, saved items, or searches.
The only identifiers used are random installation IDs created by Firebase. They are not linked to your name or any account, you can reset them by deleting and reinstalling the App, and they are removed when the App is deleted.
When you are online, the App checks Firebase Remote Config for updated sermon links, crisis resources, and daily verse selections. This request uses the same random installation ID and does not include any personal information. The App works fully without a connection.
We use the anonymous information described above only to:
We do NOT:
Go to Settings in the App and turn off Analytics. When it is off, the App sends no usage events and no crash reports. Everything else in the App keeps working the same way.
We share information only with the service providers that run the App's infrastructure:
| Provider | What Information | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | Anonymous usage events, general device information, installation ID | Understanding App usage |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reports, general device information, installation ID | Fixing crashes |
| Google Firebase Remote Config | Installation ID, App version | Delivering content updates |
We may also disclose information if required by law. These providers have their own privacy policies, including Firebase's privacy information.
The App links to services we do not control, including sermons on the ONLY BLV YouTube channel, onlyblv.com, crisis helplines, findahelpline.com, and the App Store or Google Play (for the T[root]H Accountability app). When you open a link, that service's own privacy policy applies. Calling or texting a helpline from the App uses your phone's dialer or messaging app. The App does not record those calls or messages.
Because we do not collect your identity, we cannot look up, export, or delete anonymous data for a specific person. To remove everything the App stores on your device, delete the App.
The App is made for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and the App has no way for anyone to submit personal information to us.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to know whether it is sold or disclosed, the right to opt out of its sale, and the right to equal service. We collect no personal information that identifies you, and we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process the anonymous usage and crash data described above based on our legitimate interest in keeping the App working and improving it. You can object at any time by turning off Analytics in Settings. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For questions, contact us at admin@onlyblv.com.
