Child Safety Standards

This page sets out the child safety standards for T[root]H Accountability (package com.onlyblv.troothaccountability), published by ONLY BLV LLC. These standards apply to all users of the app and describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

ONLY BLV LLC and T[root]H Accountability strictly prohibit, and have zero tolerance for, any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to:

Any user found engaging in such conduct will have their account permanently terminated, their content removed, and, where applicable, their information reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.

T[root]H Accountability is an accountability and support tool. It allows adult users to designate trusted accountability partners and to send help alerts to those partners via push notification, email, and SMS. The app is not intended for use by children and is not designed to host, share, or distribute user-generated media between strangers.

Users can report suspected child safety concerns, abusive content, or violations of these standards at any time:

We aim to review all child safety reports promptly and take appropriate action, including removing content, terminating accounts, and escalating to authorities.

6. How We Respond to CSAM

If we identify or receive a report of apparent CSAM or CSAE, we will:

  1. Preserve the relevant content and account information as required by law.
  2. Remove the offending content and permanently terminate the responsible account(s).
  3. Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline and cooperate with law enforcement as required.
  4. Comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

7. Legal Compliance

ONLY BLV LLC complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including U.S. federal reporting obligations regarding CSAM. We cooperate with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement agencies as required by law.
