Child Safety Standards

This page sets out the child safety standards for T[root]H Accountability (package com.onlyblv.troothaccountability), published by ONLY BLV LLC. These standards apply to all users of the app and describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

ONLY BLV LLC and T[root]H Accountability strictly prohibit, and have zero tolerance for, any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form
The grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking of minors
The sexualization of minors or any content that sexualizes children
Any attempt to use the app to contact, exploit, or endanger a child

Any user found engaging in such conduct will have their account permanently terminated, their content removed, and, where applicable, their information reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.

1. About the App

T[root]H Accountability is an accountability and support tool. It allows adult users to designate trusted accountability partners and to send help alerts to those partners via push notification, email, and SMS. The app is not intended for use by children and is not designed to host, share, or distribute user-generated media between strangers.

2. Age Requirements

T[root]H Accountability is intended for users 18 years of age and older.
The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we delete it promptly.

3. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on T[root]H Accountability and constitute grounds for immediate account termination and reporting to authorities:

Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM or any content that sexualizes minors.
Grooming, luring, soliciting, or attempting to engage a minor in sexual activity.
Sextortion, trafficking, or any exploitation of a minor.
Using the app to facilitate contact with a minor for the purpose of abuse or exploitation.

4. How We Detect and Prevent CSAE

Age-gating: The app is restricted to adult users and is not marketed to children.
Limited surface for abuse: The app does not provide open media sharing, public feeds, or stranger matching, which significantly limits opportunities for CSAE.
User reporting: We provide an in-app and email mechanism for users to report concerns or abusive behavior (see Section 5).
Review and action: Reports are reviewed by our team, and we take prompt action including content removal and account termination where warranted.

5. In-App Reporting and Feedback Mechanism

Users can report suspected child safety concerns, abusive content, or violations of these standards at any time:

In the app: Use the in-app support/feedback option in Settings to report a concern.
By email: Contact our child safety team at admin@onlyblv.com.

We aim to review all child safety reports promptly and take appropriate action, including removing content, terminating accounts, and escalating to authorities.

6. How We Respond to CSAM

If we identify or receive a report of apparent CSAM or CSAE, we will:

Preserve the relevant content and account information as required by law.
Remove the offending content and permanently terminate the responsible account(s).
Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline and cooperate with law enforcement as required.
Comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

7. Legal Compliance

ONLY BLV LLC complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including U.S. federal reporting obligations regarding CSAM. We cooperate with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement agencies as required by law.
